The Nag Hammadi Scriptures

These scriptures date from the start of this era and provide an outlook on early Christianity that differs from the traditional viewpoint.

These wonderful texts reveal an entirely different view of Jesus, on God and creation, and the meaning of salvation. It offers the inner way of Christianity, the knowledge of the heart, i.e. the gnosis, which was forbidden by the church and kept outside of their canon. The scriptures have remained untouched in the desert sands for 1600 years, until they were found in 1945.
